As a member of Public Poetry, you’re supporting the payments we give to invited poets who read with us; you’re sustaining city-wide free events like our monthly library reading series; you’re providing  substantial cash prizes to poetry competition winners; you’re helping to support deaf poets and ASL poety, and adding to the number of poets we pay in connection with REELpoetry/HoustonTX
